Dr. King is a member of the Block I Council which supports the athletic department. He has been a long-time season ticket holder for the football and basketball teams’ games which he attends regularly.

Dr. King has participated in the Steve Stricker golf outing which contributes funds to the University of Illinois golf team under the direction of Coach Mike Small.
